The BASE PTO Staff Wellbeing Committee is here to support the social, physical, and community well-being of the staff.

Social:

We are here to promote working together to support our school. We will be an open point of contact for staff to make requests and communicate ideas. We will promote positive relationships between BASE staff, parents and students.

Physical:

We will work to:

Provide routine snack deliveries to the staff room.

Contribute provisions on

Preservice days,

Grading days (October, January, April, June), and

Other occasions when staff have additional hours.

Express thankfulness around Thanksgiving and Winter Breaks.

Organize recognition on

Teacher Appreciation Day, Tuesday of the first full week of May, and

Staff Appreciation Day, the first Friday in March.

We will work with staff to create, organize, and maintain prioritized lists of enrichment requests for the classrooms.

Community:

We will help to improve the staff lounge and adjacent outdoor area to be a comfortable place to relax and recharge. We will promote staff engagement in PTO community activities throughout the school year.
