Volunteering Makes a Difference!

We are all part of a team! Volunteering at BASE allows you to participate in the school community. As a volunteer, you can support field work studies, community service projects, or provide your expertise for interviews and presentations. Enjoy the opportunity to forge friendships with other parents, strengthen relationships and build a better community. Volunteering is fun and rewarding and a great way to support our students and staff.

Ready to Volunteer?

Remember, all visitors and volunteers - even virtual volunteers - must have an approved background check. This process can take up to 6 weeks.

Returning volunteers: Please take a moment to log in to Raptor to confirm you are still active in the volunteer system. Check to make sure that BASE/CTP/ACE/FLEX has been selected under buildings to be associated with. All volunteers need their id ready to scan when logging in at the school office.

New volunteers: As of the 2-24-25 school year, BSD implemented a new volunteer system. If you are not currently active in Raptor, please submit your volunteer application and new background check so you are ready to volunteer when an opportunity arise.
